Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi
Meet our representative upon arrival in Delhi and check-in at the hotel. India's capital & a major gateway to the country, Delhi is contemporary and a bustling metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Delhi
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi. This fascinating city has been in existence since the 6th century BC and has seen ups and downs from the rule of the Pandavas right up to the British Raj. Visit Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. The courtyard of the mosque can hold about 25,000 worshippers. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi…noisy, chaotic and uniquely Indian. You will then drive past to the Red Fort, which was constructed during the rule of Emperor Shah Jahan and served as the residence for the Mughal royal family. It continues to be significant till date, as every Independence Day, the Prime Minister makes a speech from its ramparts as the Indian flag is hoisted. Later, drive past President House and several other government buildings in Edwin Lutyen’s Delhi before you head toward Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. This simple memorial marks the spot where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Thereafter, visit Humayun’s Tomb, commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum in 1562. It was the first garden tomb built in the Indian sub-continent where the Persian architect used red sandstone on a large scale. Later in the evening visit the Qutab Minar, which is the tallest brick minaret in the world; it was commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi. (Optional) - Attend a Sufi ceremony at Nizamuddin Dargah). Return back to Hotel.Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi – Chambal (310 km/approx. 6 hours)
This morning after breakfast drive to Chambal. Arrive and check in at the Hotel. Afternoon experience the river safari drives in Chambal. The calm and gentle waters of the Chambal River are best explored on boats and the River Safari provides spectacular opportunities to view the wildlife. The Chambal Safari boatmen are exceptionally skilled at cutting the boat engines, and manoeuvring as close to the birds and animals as possible without disturbing them. Trained naturalists accompany visitors and provide expert information on the Chambal wildlife. The River Safari is a most relaxing, enjoyable and special experience.Overnight in Chambal.
Day 4 : Chambal – Bharatpur (195 km/approx. 4.5 hours)
Early morning, proceed for wildlife and bird watching in Chambal: Around Bah, Yamuna River meets the Chambal River and the entire area is haven for Bird watchers. The area is maintained by Chambal Conservation Foundation (set up in 1999 by Kunwar Ram Pratap Singh and his wife, local royal family members), is known for Gangetic Dolphins, Migratory Birds, Alligators, Crocodiles. Return to hotel. After breakfast drive to Bharatpur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was built by the Emperor Akbar and is home to many historical buildings. Akbar wanted to make Fatehpur Sikri his headquarters; however, he had to abandon it due to shortage of water. It is the best example of the amalgamation of Hindu and Muslim architecture. The Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti enshrines the burial place of the Sufi saint who lived a religious life here. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a UNESCO World heritage site. Arrive Bharatpur and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Bharatpur.
Day 5 : Bharatpur – Jaipur (185 km/approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast, proceed for a visit to the Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary. One of the finest bird parks in the world, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is a reserve that offers protection to varied faunal species. Nesting indigenous water - birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar. The name Keoladeo derives from an ancient Hindu temple inside the Park, devoted to Lord Shiva. The major attractions of tourists visiting the park are the numerous migratory birds, who come from as far away as Siberia and Central Asia and spend their winters in Bharatpur, before returning to their breeding grounds. Migratory birds at Bharatpur bird sanctuary include, several species of Cranes, Pelicans, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks, Stints, Wagtails, Warblers, Wheatears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits, etc. Later drive to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free time to walk around in local bazaar on your own. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 6 : Jaipur
Today, enjoy a full-day sightseeing trip of Jaipur, also known as the ‘Pink City’… it is famous for its colorful culture, forts, palaces, and lakes. The old city of Jaipur is painted pink, which gives it a magical glow. Visit the Amber Fort… a fascinating blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The best way to explore the fort is to ride up to it on elephant back. Later, stop to photograph the beautiful Hawa Mahal, also known as the “Palace of the Winds.” This beautiful façade with its ornately carved latticework windows is made of pink sandstone. Post lunch, visit the City Palace… again, a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, comprising geometric devices for measuring time. You will also visit the Albert Hall, which was modeled on the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture. (Optional) - An Evening at the Raj Mandir cinema - Bollywood film, and high atmosphere color in the room. Drive back to Samode. Overnight in Samode
Day 7 : Jaipur
Today, breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Alternatively, you can explore the local markets around your hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 8 : Jaipur – Bhainsrorgarh (300 km/approx. 6 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Bhainsrorgarh. Arrive Bhainsrorgarh and check in to your hotel. Overnight in Bhainsrorgarh.
Day 9 : Bhainsrorgarh
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day visit of Badoli Temple of Rawatbhata. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bhainsrorgarh.
Day 10 : Bhainsrorgarh
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day visit of Rana Pratap Sagar Dam of Rawatbhata and Chudiya Fall at Rawatbhatt. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bhainsrorgarh.
Day 11 : Bhainsrorgarh – Udaipur (240 km/approx. 5 hours)
This morning after breakfast proceed to Udaipur (230 kms / 5 hrs drive approx). Enroute, visit the Ranakpur Temples, acclaimed worldwide for their intricate and superb architectural style. These temples form one of the five major pilgrimages of the Jain’s. Arrive Udaipur and check in to your hotel. (Optional) A course of Indian cuisine at home - you then share the meal with the family that welcomes you. Overnight in Udaipur
Day 12 : Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for full-day tour of Udaipur. Visit the City Palace, standing on the east bank of Lake Pichola. The complex is a massive series of palaces built at different times from 1559. The balconies of the palace provide panoramic views of the Lake Palace Hotel and Jag Mandir on one side, and the city of Udaipur on the other. The paintings, mosaics, intricately carved 'chhatris' and the architecturally brilliant facade all contribute to making your visit to the City Palace a truly memorable experience. Thereafter, visit a picturesque garden, Sahelion ki Bari. You will visit also visit Jagat Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Ambika- a form of Goddess Durga. Built in 961 A.D, this temple is renowned for its intricate carvings in the exteriors. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola (depending upon the water level of lake), which is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362 AD. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 13 : Udaipur – Cochin (By Flight)
After breakfast, Proceed to the airport to board the flight for Cochin. Arrive Cochin & Check in at your hotel. Meet our representative upon arrival in Cochin and drive towards hotel to check-in. Overnig.ht in Cochin
Day 14 : Sightseeing in Cochin
After breakfast, proceed for full-day tour of Cochin. Enjoy city tour covering Mattanchery Palace- gifted to the king of Cochin, by Portuguese in 1555, about 500 year old Jewish Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, local spices market followed by colorful performing art – Kathakali Dance. Later in the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 15 : Cochin – Thekkady (175 kms / approx. 3.5 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar) and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Periyar. Set high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Herds of playful wild elephants have made Periyar Lake their favorite haunt for frolicking in the water. They can be witnessed bathing and swimming here. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Other inhabitants of Periyar include the leopard, wild dog, barking deer, mouse deer, Nilgiri langur, bonnet macaque, sambhar, porcupines, squirrels, gaur (Indian bison), wild boar and sloth bear. Later, take a spice plantation tour. The aroma and pleasant ambiance of the spice and tea plantations of Periyar are fascinating. Spices found in Thekkady include pepper, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, ginger, turmeric, vanilla and curry leaves. In evening, watch traditional Kalari show. (Optional) - You can also enjoy an elephant ride in Periyar. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17 : Thekkady – Alleppey (130 kms / approx. 4 hours)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board your houseboat on arrival. Alleppey, "Venice of the East" has a large network of backwater canals that meander through the town, surrounding villages and Vembanad Lake. Cruise through the beautiful and scenic backwaters of Kerela, while you stay in houseboat. Overnight stay on houseboat
Day 18 : : Drive from Alleppey – Kumarakom (30 kms / approx. 1 hour)
After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Kumarakom - a charming emerald peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake dotted with innumerable traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Spend the rest of the day at beautiful resort of Kumarakom. (Optional) explore the Kerala Backwaters through sunset cruise at Vembanad Lake. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 19 : Kumarakom
Today, enjoy your visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary- An ornithologist's paradise, the sanctuary is spread across 14 acres. Also, you may want to indulge yourself with some Ayurveda treatments in your hotel (On direct-payment basis). Ayurveda is the ancient healing system of India and has been practiced continuously for over 5,000 years. The various treatments are individually prescribed and involve the use of medicated herbal oils, herbs, powders and poultices & natural ingredients. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 20 : Onwards
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin airport for return flight back home. End of Services.
